APES Review material- review session is a no-go :(

Hey, I've only had a handful of people interested in meeting this afternoon and most of them are students from this semester so I'm not going to hold a review session. Here is a   link to review material   with some white sheet boxes: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/18liBRONz_oduP4ZTmV2AWHRQb6i_5xxCvMRe0b-fZE8/edit#slide=id.p Also   if you haven't looked at this stuff in a while    I would binge watch APES in a box to get ready for the exam. https://vimeo.com/channels/apesinabox If you are kind of prepared   (Ryan and Hunter for example) and most of the white sheet stuff is still fresh in your head,  I would look at the math review stuff! https://vimeo.com/channels/573122 Good luck to everyone!  Remember to   show units  when you do math and if a question is taking you too long to figure out- skip it and come back if you have time- there are probably a few easy ones you can know out instead!!

AP Environmental Science EXAM is ON MONDAY! Possible Sunday review session

Hey, I thought some of you from last semester might enjoy a little review session before the big day. IF the weather is nice I'm going to drive up to Lineberger Park  (near downtown Gastonia) to do another review session! I'll re-post Sunday by noon to let you know if it's a go. It will depend on the weather and the interest level. IF we meet it will be between 4 and 5 -check the blog before you go :) https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g49156-d7200412-Reviews-Lineberger_Park-Gastonia_North_Carolina.html

Sub Plan for 4-25-17

My 2nd and 3rd block will be on a field trip. Only two students from 3rd period should be in class. Let them study for their test on Wednesday and use this time as a study hall. 4th block is my Biology class. Have them watch the documentary linked below and complete the handout that goes with the documentary. I would let a student sit at my computer and pause the film as needed so they can answer all of the questions. Here is the link to the film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCU
